About Sarah

Biography & Treatment Approach

I am an Indianapolis-based licensed clinical psychologist with PSYPACT certification, which means I can provide virtual therapy to clients located in 43 participating states. I have over 20 years of experience providing direct clinical care, psychological assessment, supervision, and professional training. I have spent time growing and developing in a variety of settings such as community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, integrated care facilities, and private practices. Throughout my career, I have dedicated my practice to fostering resilience, growth, and healing through a trauma-informed lens. I have experience providing care to individuals struggling with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and trauma, working collaboratively to meet their treatment goals.

My clinical expertise lies in supporting individuals as they navigate major life transitions—such as career changes, relationship shifts, loss, and identity development—helping them build insight, emotional flexibility, and coping strategies to thrive in new life stages.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, human connection. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity — I want to understand your unique story and help you make sense of what’s getting in the way of living the life you want.

I bring a blend of insight, humor, and compassion to my work. Therapy with me often includes laughter alongside reflection, because I believe growth doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. I aim to create a nonjudgmental space where you can explore openly, feel seen, and begin to make meaningful changes at your own pace.

My therapy style integrates evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

In addition to my clinical work, I am an experienced supervisor and educator, mentoring early-career clinicians and consulting on leadership and organizational development. I am passionate about cultivating psychologically safe environments that support growth, compassion, and effective communication.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Chicago but landed in Indiana in adulthood. I am a married mother of two children and one pup who thinks he is a child. In my free time, I enjoy reading, music of all types, working out, and cooking.
